We are having our first of 3 library meetups on June 17th at 11:45am! Join us for a discussion and viewing of some Star Trek related content.
This event is free to attend. There is plenty of free parking right at the doorstep of the library as well as a bus stop on the main express route. Feel free to bring some snacks to share and you can bring your own drinks.
NOTE: The location has changed and is no longer at Toowong due to scheduling conflicts at that library.
Come along with us as we explore the temporary space exhibition at the Ipswich Rail Museum. We are planning on attending the event 11am Saturday, May 6th with lunch and discussions at the museum café to follow. General admission is $14.50, concession $12.50. There is free parking and a bus stop at the museum entrance. If you need assistance getting from the Ipswich train station, please private message us and we can arrange to pick you up.

We are excited to attend the Neighbourhood Earth space exhibition for the first outing of 2023!
Meetup is at 10am, Saturday the 14th of January at the Queens Plaza Forecourt. If you wish, you can stay for an optional lunch meeting/coffee in the food court afterwards.
Ticket prices are $29 and if we get a group of 10 or more, that is discounted to $25. It takes 90 minutes all together to view the exhibition.

Join us for our year’s end meet up! We are meeting with fellow Star Trek fans for the morning session of Dune at Southbank Cinemas next Saturday the 4th of December. Having a morning coffee and a chat before the film in the upper foyer. Southbank cinemas has free parking and is a short walk from the train station (South Brisbane) and also a main bus station (Southbank Cultural Centre).

Bring your own food or order from the affordable cafe which serves wraps, drinks, coffee, fish and chips, burgers and nachos.
Lunch meet up from 12pm to 2pm.
For those who wish to see the play, it’s a play based on the Moby Dick story but set in space!! It’s 1 hour 20 minutes with no interval and costs $39 concession, $49 regular tickets.
We have booked row C, seat 9/10 so you are welcome to book around us or I can book a seat without a fee (I have QPAC membership) and just pay on the day. Unsure how many seats will be left on the day so advanced purchase is recommended.
Of course all are welcome to just attend the luncheon. Hoping to meet up with everyone again soon!!!

Our first Club meeting for the year with lots of catch up with Friends and events happening in 2021.
Meet up at the Coffee Club next to the Jindalee Reading cinemas at 10.15am approx followed by your choice of a movie. Head to the movie to view what movie you would like to see or if none appeals, then stay on have a long brunch.
Happy to pick people up at the Darra Station at 10am. Please let me know if you going to be there.
